A violent offender who stabbed a man in the back with scissors has been jailed for ten years. Kain Masey, 33, unleashed his rage during a fight at a St Ann’s house in Nottingham on Halloween night last year.
Criminal’s Violent Past and Shocking Arrest
Masey, a well-known troublemaker with previous convictions for violence, harassment, and dangerous driving, didn’t stop at stabbing. When police arrested him, he bit a female officer’s hand. While being treated in hospital for his own injuries, the drunk attacker hurled racist abuse at another officer, adding to his litany of crimes.
Drunken Fury Triggered by Family Insult
Witnesses revealed Masey had been drinking and watching a film before losing his temper over a comment about a family member. He initially denied stabbing anyone but later pleaded guilty to wounding with intent, assaulting an emergency worker, and racially aggravated harassment. Judge at Nottingham Crown Court handed down a decade behind bars for the Eastglade Road resident, punishing his violent outburst and appalling behaviour towards officers.
