Man Busted for Hotel Burglary Spree in Wilmington
Police have charged a man over a series of burglaries at a hotel on Top Dartford Road, Wilmington. The crook is accused of stealing cash, jewellery, and bank cards from guest rooms back in October 2025.
Stolen Bank Cards Used in Fraudulent Buys
Thieves wasted no time using the stolen bank cards to make dodgy purchases. Cops checked CCTV footage and quickly tracked down the suspect. He was arrested on 2 January 2026.
Phillip Brown Hit with Multiple Burglary Charges
Phillip Brown, 58, from Walmer Terrace, Plumstead, now faces two burglary charges linked to the October 2025 crimes. He’s also charged over another break-in at the same hotel back in September 2024.
Legal Drama Kicks Off
Brown showed up at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 3 January and was granted conditional bail. His next court appearance is at Maidstone Crown Court on 30 January.
