Tragic Death of Girl in Watling Street Crash
Lilly Lockwood, a young girl, was rushed to a London hospital after a collision on Watling Street near Meadow Way around 6:50pm on Saturday, 10 July. Sadly, she died on the evening of Monday, 12 July.
Driver Arrested and Released on Bail
A man in his 50s driving a yellow 1 S1 was arrested before Lilly’s death on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while impaired. He has now been bailed until Tuesday, 3 August.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
Officers urge anyone who saw the crash, the pedestrian, or the vehicle beforehand to come forward. They are especially keen to speak to anyone with dashcam, doorbell, or CCTV footage.
