Seven Men Busted in Massive Kent Cocaine Sting
Police have cracked down on a cocaine supply ring operating across east Kent. The gang allegedly peddled class A drugs from June to October 2022.
Major Raids Lead to Huge Cash and Cannabis Haul
On Thursday 21 March 2024, officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate swooped on multiple homes. They seized around £20,000 in cash and a large stash of herbal cannabis.
Suspects Named and Charged in Drug Conspiracy
Six men were arrested during the raids and charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine:
- John Horn, 37, Highfield Road, Ramsgate
- Joseph Shuttleworth, 34, Orchard Close, Ramsgate
- Jason Tse, 40, Beach Road, Westgate-on-Sea
- Chris Palmer, 33, Nixon Avenue, Ramsgate
- Robert Georgiou, 56, Brecon Square, Ramsgate
- Thomas Hilton, 27, Grimshill Road, Whitstable (also charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis)
The seventh suspect, Oliver Eyles, 36, of Lavender Lane, Ramsgate, was arrested and charged a week later on Tuesday 2 April 2024.
Court Dates and Bail info
Thomas Hilton was released on court bail. The other six men remain in custody, awaiting a hearing at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 22 April.
