Violent Spate Hits London: Three Attacks, Six Victims in Two Days
Since Friday evening, London has been shaken by a trio of violent attacks — two shootings and a stabbing spree — leaving five people hospitalised and one injured. Police insist the incidents are unrelated but the city remains on edge.
Woman in 50s Shot with Air Rifle in Chadwell Heath
A woman in her 50s was rushed to hospital after being hit by what police believe was an air rifle pellet in Chadwell Heath on Friday night.
Officers responded to emergency calls at Whalebone Lane South around 7.15pm and found the victim with a wound “consistent with an air rifle.” Thankfully, her injuries are neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of firearm possession and intent to endanger life. Both were later bailed pending further investigations.
Edgware Road Stabbings Leave Two Critical
In the early hours of Sunday, just before 1am, three men were found stabbed on Edgware Road.
- One man in his 20s is in life-threatening condition.
- Another man in his 30s suffered life-changing injuries.
- The third victim had minor wounds and was discharged at the scene.
Police have yet to make arrests but are pursuing urgent enquiries into the horror stabbing spree.
Late-Night Bexleyheath Shooting: One Man Arrested
Bexleyheath Broadway was sealed off in the early hours of Sunday after a shooting around 2.15am.
Two men in their 30s were treated at the scene and rushed to hospital. One suffered a gunshot wound; his condition remains unclear.
A 35-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and was hospitalised himself.
