Suspect Nabbed Fast After Break-In Attempt

Kent Police were quick on the scene after a local resident spotted a man acting suspiciously in Britannia Close, Sittingbourne, at around 3:30 pm on Tuesday, 4 March 2025. The suspect allegedly broke into a home but fled when disturbed. Officers swooped and detained a man nearby.

Nicholas Tyvesse Charged With Attempted Burglary and Theft

Following an investigation, 21-year-old Nicholas Tyvesse, from Recreation Way, Kemsley, was charged on Wednesday, 5 March 2025, with attempted burglary. He also faces charges for stealing a watch from a town centre store on the same day.

Man Remanded and Set for Court Appearance

Tyvesse was remanded in custody and was due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 6 March 2025.
