Knife-Wielding Burglar Busted in Dartford Raid
Four suspects have been arrested following a dramatic early morning burglary attempt in Dartford. It all kicked off around 1:30am on Monday, July 1, 2024, at a home on London Road, Stone.
Knife Threat at Bedroom Window
The terrified homeowner spotted a suspected intruder brandishing what looked like a knife right outside their bedroom window. The suspect then fled in a car with three accomplices, sparking an urgent police chase.
Mercedes Intercepted Near Shooters Hill
Just 20 minutes later, police caught up with a Mercedes heading towards London along East Rochester Way. With help from the Metropolitan Police, the vehicle was stopped at Shooters Hill, resulting in the detention of all four suspects.
Suspects Charged with Aggravated Burglary
- Dontae Garwood, 19, no fixed address
- Skye Harvey, 22, Tanfield Road, Croydon
- Two 17-year-old boys from Greater London
The North Kent CID charged them all with aggravated burglary. Garwood and the two teenagers were remanded at Medway Magistrates’ Court and will face maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Crown Court on July 29. Harvey is also hit with an added driving without insurance charge and was bailed to face Medway Magistrates on August 25.
