Cruel Tandragee Man Jailed for Child Abuse
Andrew Greenlee, 35, from Tandragee, has been slammed with a five-year sentence at Newry Crown Court for nine shocking offences. These included cruelty to children, common assault, and criminal damage. He will serve two-and-a-half years behind bars, followed by the same period on licence.

Detective Chief Inspector Leah Crothers branded Greenlee as “cruel and violent,” highlighting the brutal abuse the children endured. She praised the victims’ courage for stepping forward and helping bring the abuser to justice.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) reiterated their firm commitment to tackling child abuse. Officers from the Child Abuse Investigation Unit (CAIU) pledge to thoroughly probe every report to ensure abusers face the full force of the law.
