Fratton Taxi Driver Busted for Drink Driving After Multi-Car Crash
Chaos erupted on St Mary’s Road, Fratton, last night after a taxi was involved in a multi-vehicle smash. Police confirmed the cabbie was arrested and charged with drink driving.
Road Closed After Collision
The crash forced the closure of part of St Mary’s Road, including the bridge, just before 10pm. Officers scoured the scene and cleared wreckage before reopening the road shortly after 11.30pm.
Driver Bailed to Court
The driver, 34-year-old Razvan Calotwsuc from Fratton, has been bailed to appear at portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth Magistrates Court on May 19.
