Teen Busted with Loaded Gun in Lambeth Street Patrol
Arrest Follows Stop and Search
A 17-year-old lad from Newham was charged after police found a loaded firearm during a stop and search on Coldharbour Lane, Lambeth, on Wednesday, 25 August.
Serious Charges Laid
The teenager, who can’t be named for legal reasons, faces charges of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of ammunition. Officers made the arrests quickly after spotting suspicious activity on patrol.
Next Court Date Set
He appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 27 August. The youth was remanded in custody and is due back at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, 10 September.
