Masked Machete Thugs Attack Teen in Southwark Stabbing

Police rushed to Bardell House, Dickens Estate, Parkers Row, Southwark, around 10pm on Sunday 25 April after reports of a stabbing sent shockwaves through the community.

Teen Slashed by Two Masked Men

A 19-year-old victim was found with wounds to his head and thigh. The brutal attack is believed to have happened moments earlier while the victim and a friend were walking along nearby Abbey Street, SE1.

Two men, armed with a machete and wearing balaclavas, launched the savage assault. Witnesses say the attackers fled the scene in a white BMW.

Emergency Services Rush to Save Victim

Officers on the scene quickly administered first aid. The London Ambulance Service and Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) also attended. The young man was rushed to hospital, but thankfully his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
