Teen Girl Stabbed Near West London School, Man Arrested

A teenage girl was rushed to hospital after being stabbed near a school in West London on Wednesday night, sparking a rapid emergency response and the arrest of a man at the scene.

Stabbing Shocks Northolt Community

The attack happened around 8.15pm on Godfrey Avenue, UB5, close to Alec Reed Academy in Northolt.

Police and paramedics arrived swiftly after reports of a stabbing. The victim was found with a cut to the head and was treated on-site before being taken to hospital. A crime scene was quickly set up as officers secured the area.

Victim’s Condition Non-Life-Threatening

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:

“We were called at 8.14pm to reports of a stabbing near Godfrey Avenue, UB5. We dispatched ambulance crews, an incident response officer, and a tactical response unit. We treated a teenager at the scene and took her to hospital.”

The teenager’s injury is not life-threatening, police confirmed.

Man Arrested on Suspicion of GBH

The Metropolitan Police arrested a man at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). He remains in custody as investigations continue.

“Police were called at approximately 8.15pm on Wednesday, 16 April, to reports of a stabbing in Godfrey Avenue, Northolt. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a woman with a head injury; she was taken to hospital. A crime scene was established while the incident was dealt with. Enquiries into the circumstances continue,” said a Met spokesperson.
