Knife Crime Crackdown Lands Teen in Trouble

A 16-year-old from Chatham has been charged with two offences after police swooped on All Saints Road, Northfleet. Plain-clothed officers from the Gravesham Community Policing Team detained the boy at around 6.05pm on Sunday, 21 April 2019.

Proactive Patrol Nets Knife and Drugs

The team was on a targeted mission cracking down on knife carriers and drug deals. During the stop, they seized a two-inch knife and a small stash of suspected crack cocaine from the teen.

Charged and Bailed Ahead of Youth Court Appearance

The teenager faces charges of possessing a knife blade in public and possession of crack cocaine. He has been bailed to appear at Medway Youth Court on Tuesday, 21 May 2019.
