At 08:04 on Friday, 30 May, the Metropolitan Police responded to reports of an attempted phone robbery along Leyton High Road, E10. Officers swiftly detained the teenage suspect at the scene and arrested him on suspicion of theft. He remains in police custody while inquiries continue.
