Woman Charged with Attempted Murder in Shocking Brighton Knife Attack
Brighton cops have charged an 18-year-old woman with attempted murder after a man was threatened with a knife in a midnight assault.
Knife Threat on Ryelands Drive
Just after midnight on Saturday, October 10, officers rushed to Ryelands Drive following reports a man in his twenties was attacked and menaced with a blade.
The victim suffered minor injuries but was quickly taken to hospital for treatment.
Sophie George in Custody Ahead of Crown Court
Sophie George, from Highbrook Close, Brighton, was slapped with charges of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in public.
She appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 12, where she was remanded in custody and will face Crown Court on November 9.
