Teenagers Charged with Murder Over Charity Worker’s Phone Theft in London

Two teenagers have been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a 28-year-old charity worker in Westminster.

Suspects Held for Murder and Robbery

Nathan Gilmaney, 18, from Maida Vale, W9, and a 17-year-old boy were charged on Friday, 20 October, with murder. The duo also face charges relating to attempted robbery on Sutherland Avenue, W9, and another robbery on St Mary’s Terrace, W2—both incidents happened on Monday, 16 October.

Victim Identified as Abdul Samad

The victim, 28-year-old Abdul Samad from Maida Vale, was found with fatal stab wounds outside Fleming Court in St Mary’s Terrace on 16 October. A post-mortem confirmed he died from a stab wound to the chest.

Next Steps in the Case

Both suspects are set to appear in custody this morning at Westminster Magistrates’ Court as the investigation continues.
