In a tragic turn of events, two 17-year-old boys have been found guilty of murder in connection with a double stabbing incident that occurred last year in Luton. The teenagers, whose identities cannot be disclosed due to legal reasons, were convicted today (Thursday) for their involvement in the murder of 38-year-old Omar Khan.
The incident unfolded in the early hours of the morning on Tenth Avenue, situated in the Sundon Park area of Luton. Emergency services were summoned to the scene just before 2 am following reports of two individuals sustaining serious knife injuries. Tragically, Mr Khan succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene approximately an hour later.
The second victim, a woman, was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery for life-changing injuries sustained during the attack.
Following the incident, a comprehensive murder investigation was launched by detectives from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit. Through meticulous examination of CCTV footage, forensic analysis, and phone records, the two teenagers were linked to the crime.
