Man Arrested in Stoke-on-Trent Over Terror Plot

A 34-year-old man was arrested last night in Stoke-on-Trent on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts. West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit launched the probe amid a wider review of convicted terror offenders’ licence conditions.

Recall to Prison After Licence Breach

The suspect was also recalled to prison for allegedly breaching his licence conditions. Officers executed a search warrant at his home on 30 November as part of ongoing inquiries.

Police stress there is no evidence connecting the man to the recent London Bridge attack. Authorities confirm there was no immediate threat to public safety following the arrest.
