Police are scrambling for witnesses after a 17-year-old was attacked with a mysterious liquid in Romford, east London. The shocking assault happened at around 2.45am on 30 December 2018, when officers were called to a home on Shepherds Hill following reports of the violent incident.
Masked Gang Chases Teen with Knives
The victim told police he was walking along Pages Lane when up to four suspects, all with their faces covered, confronted him. The gang threw a liquid in his face, then chased him down, threatening him with knives. They made off with his wallet and watch.
Raiders Escape in Silver Prius
Witnesses say the attackers fled the scene in a silver Toyota Prius. The teenager was rushed to an east London hospital and has since been discharged after treatment.
Police Plea: Help Identify Knife-Wielding Gang
Detectives are frustrated as the area lacks CCTV coverage, leaving them struggling to identify the suspects. They urge anyone who was near Pages Lane around the time of the attack or spotted the silver Prius to come forward.
