Thames Valley Police Hunt E-Scooter Rider After Horrific Milton Keynes Crash
Thames Valley Police have issued images of a suspect they want to question following a serious road accident in Milton Keynes.
E-Scooter Rider Collides with Elderly Woman
At around noon on September 6, an e-scooter rider sped through the junction of Avebury Boulevard and Witan Gate. The rider crashed into a woman in her sixties who was crossing the road.
The victim suffered a serious head injury and was rushed to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.
Hit-and-Run Suspect Still on the Loose
The e-scooter rider fled the scene before officers arrived, refusing to stop or help.
PC Lewis Carpenter of the Joint Operations Unit appealed to the public: “We are appealing to anyone who may recognise the individual in these images to please get in touch as they may have vital information about this incident.”
He added, “We are specifically appealing to anyone in the area who may have ring doorbell, dash-cam, CCTV footage, or mobile phone footage that could assist our enquiry.”
