BBC Northern Ireland Kicks Off Big Walk Series Across Six Counties
Walking fever is sweeping Northern Ireland! Over recent years, more folk have been lacing up their boots and rediscovering the stunning landscapes nearby. Now, BBC Northern Ireland is joining the craze with an exciting new series.
Strolls, Chats, and Scenic Routes
Starting Sunday, May 29, the Big Walk series will air on BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Sounds at 6.30pm. Presenters Declan Harvey and Lynette Fay launch the series with a leisurely wander around Florence Court in County Fermanagh, meeting locals and sharing stories along the way.
“We’re delighted to be getting out and about and meeting everyone again after the past couple of years,” said Declan Harvey. “Most of us are now more appreciative of the beautiful scenery on our doorstep, so we’d like to come along and explore it with you.”
Lynette Fay added: “Get in touch – tell us about your favourite walk, what you love about it, and why it’s worth a visit. Your favourite BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Radio Foyle presenter could be on their way to join you for a stroll.”
