Three Men Arrested Over Metal Pole Assault in Paddock Wood

Kent Police acted fast after a brutal metal pole attack in Paddock Wood. Three men have been arrested following a serious assault near Old Kent Road just before 3 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

Violent Attack After Argument

The victim, known to the suspects, was reportedly attacked after a row the night before. He suffered severe injuries including a black eye, cuts, bruising, and swelling to his head and face. The victim was rushed to a local hospital for urgent treatment.

Suspects Identified and Released on Bail

Police arrested two men in their 30s from Tonbridge and a 32-year-old from Etchingham, East Sussex. They face charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and grievous bodily harm with intent. All three have since been released on bail, with a court appearance set for June 18.
