Nottinghamshire Gang Busted with Tens of Thousands in Cocaine
Jerome O’Connor, Jahvan Morris, and Abdul Aziz masterminded a major cocaine racket, flooding Nottinghamshire’s streets with tens of thousands of pounds worth of the drug.
Police Sting Ends in Suffolk Catch
Nottinghamshire Police kept tabs on the trio for months. They finally caught them red-handed after a drug deal in Suffolk, nabbing the gang as they headed home.
Morris was following orders from gang leader O’Connor, who masterminded the entire operation.
Cops Freeze Over £51,000 in Criminal Cash
Financial investigators uncovered more than £51,000 in bank accounts tied to O’Connor. The funds were promptly frozen under a restraint order.
During sentencing, O’Connor admitted the money was his. Authorities have now set a confiscation timetable to seize all proceeds and any other criminal profits.
“This was a protracted investigation but the hard work carried out by all officers and CPS staff involved is what secured these convictions.”
