Three Men Nabbed Over Tesco Express Robbery in Farnborough

Police have arrested three men after a daring robbery at Tesco Express on Chapel Lane, Farnborough. The incident happened at 1:54 PM on 18 September when a container of cigarettes was snatched. A staff member suffered a minor arm injury during the raid.

Getaway Car Found After Police Chase

The thief trio made their escape in a Renault Grand Scenic, sparking a police hunt. Officers tracked the vehicle down on Bridge Road, Farnborough, around 10 PM. Their search then led to a property on Cottage Gardens, where all three suspects were cuffed shortly after midnight.

Suspects’ Raid Turns Violent – Officers Attacked

Tensions flared during one arrest when two police officers were assaulted. The suspects include:

  • A 31-year-old London man, held on suspicion of robbery.
  • A 22-year-old man with no fixed address, suspected of robbery, assaulting emergency workers, and possession of a Class B drug.
  • An 18-year-old Londoner, arrested for robbery and class B drug possession.

All three remain in custody as inquiries ramp up.
