Three Men Arrested in Two Major Vehicle Stops
Specialist officers cracked down hard on Thursday, 30 April, charging three men with a string of serious offences following two separate vehicle stops in London.
Brixton Moped Stop Yields Drug and Firearms Charges
Romone Nelson, 28, from Mostyn Road, Lambeth, was nabbed with cannabis intended for supply, burglary gear, criminal property, and careless driving. He was charged on Friday, 1 May, and appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court the next day. Nelson was granted bail and is due back at Inner London Crown Court on Friday, 29 May.
Andre Roach, 30, of Bodley Manor Way, Lambeth, faces two counts of possession of firearms and one count of ammunition possession. Roach was also charged on 1 May and appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on 2 May. He remains in custody ahead of his Old Bailey hearing on 29 May.
Bolton Man Busted with Class A Drugs and Illegal Weapons in Brent
Terrence O’Connor, 24, from Webb Street, Bolton, was stopped in a Silverston Way, Brent car on 30 April. Police found him in possession of class A drugs with intent to supply, two automatic prohibited weapons, ammunition, a firearm silencer, and criminal property.
Charged on 1 May, O’Connor appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on 2 May. He remains in custody and is set to appear at Harrow Crown Court on 29 May.
