Three Men Jailed for Running ‘Well-Organised’ Drug Network
- Lee Wood, 34, of Queen Charlotte Street, Bristol, was sentenced to 10 years. He admitted supplying heroin and cocaine, possessing criminal property, and driving offences.
- Wade Gwyther, 27, of Kenmare Avenue, Bristol, got six years and eight months for his role in the drug supply.
- Peter Woods, 33, from Liverpool and driver of the stopped vehicle, was jailed for four years and eight months for drug supply and handling criminal property.
Judge Edward Burgess branded the gang a “well-organised criminal network functioning at a high level.” Wood was identified as the ringleader, directing heroin and cocaine supply on a commercial scale.
Detective Chief Inspector Adam Smith said: “This sentence reflects the senior roles these men played in importing drugs into our city. We take targeted action because these wholesale dealers ruin lives and fuel crime and anti-social behaviour.”
