The family of two-year-old Isabelle Rose Welsh has shared a heart-wrenching tribute after the little girl’s tragic death last weekend. Known for her infectious smile, love of dancing, and Peppa Pig, Isabelle was rushed to hospital amid serious concerns but sadly did not survive.

Two Arrested in Connection with Isabelle’s Death

Cleveland Police launched an urgent operation at Hartington Close, Thornaby, at around 4.20pm on September 13. They arrested 25-year-old Alexandra Walker and 21-year-old Harrison Simpson, both locals from The Street.

  • Walker faces charges of murder and causing the death of a child.
  • Simpson is charged with murder, rape, and causing the death of a child.

The pair appeared via video link at Teesside Crown Court on Friday. A plea hearing is set for November 6. Both remain in custody awaiting trial, which has yet to be scheduled.

Around 200 people gathered for a candlelit vigil Thursday evening to honour Isabelle’s memory, showing the deep impact of this horrific tragedy on the community.
