A teenage boy charged with the murder of Lorna Woodnutt made his first appearance at Tullamore District Court following the shocking killing on Saturday night.
Accused Remanded Without Bail
Detective Sergeant Caroline Lyng confirmed the arrest, charge, and caution, noting the boy’s silence throughout. Dressed in dark clothes, he did not apply for bail. Judge Andrew Cody immediately remanded him to Oberstown Child Detention Campus. His next court date is set for October 4, to be heard via video link at 10:15.
