Christmas Day Burglars Nabbed in Sutton at Hone

Kent Police swooped on a man and woman caught red-handed stealing model cars from a Sutton at Hone shop on Christmas Day.

Quick-Thinking Cops Crack Case

The raid happened on December 25 when the duo broke into the local store near Dartford and swiped two valuable model cars. Officers raced to the scene after the burglary was reported, launching an immediate search of the nearby area.

The police soon tracked down and stopped a vehicle tied to the crime.

Pair Arrested and Items Recovered

A 38-year-old man and 36-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of burglary at the scene. Luckily, the stolen model cars were recovered and are set to be handed back to their rightful owners.

Ongoing Investigation

Both suspects were taken into custody but have since been released on bail as the probe continues.

“We are committed to ensuring those responsible for such crimes are brought to justice,” said a Kent Police spokesperson. “Our swift response means the stolen items will be returned to their rightful owner.”
