Two Men Jailed Over Portsmouth Class A Drug Bust
Two men caught dealing Class A drugs in Portsmouth have been locked up for a combined six years. The pair were nabbed during a police raid on 23 February in Southsea’s St Helens Parade.
Crack and Heroin Dealer Sentenced
Wilker Amaro, 22, from London’s Provost Street, was sentenced to 42 months for possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin. Portsmouth local Vazcontreiras Hailton, 26, got 30 months for the same offences.
Police Step Up Crackdown on Drug Crimes
Chief Inspector James Pegler said:
“Police in Portsmouth, including our new drugs harm team, are disrupting drug-dealing across the city. I hope these results reassure the community that we won’t tolerate drug crime.”
