Woman Hurt in Shocking Whalebone Lane South Shooting
A woman in her 50s was left injured after a terrifying shooting on Whalebone Lane South, Chadwell Heath, on Friday evening. The incident unfolded around 7.15pm on January 2, when police discovered the victim with wounds thought to be caused by an air rifle. She was rushed to hospital, but thankfully, her injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police Nab Two Suspects Over Firearm Discharge
Authorities quickly swung into action, arresting two men aged 29 and 18 at a nearby address. Both face suspicion of firearm possession and intent to endanger life. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed:
“Police were called to a report of a firearm discharge at 19:14hrs on Friday, 2 January. Two men were arrested at a nearby address on suspicion of possession of a firearm and intent to endanger life.”
