Two Men Busted in Basingstoke Burglary Spree

Detectives have charged two men in connection with a string of pub and community centre burglaries across Basingstoke.

Burglaries Hit Local Pubs and Clubs

Ian Morris Nish, 46, with no fixed address, faces multiple charges including four counts of burglary other than dwelling, one attempted burglary, and three counts of fraud by false representation. His alleged targets include:

  • The Chineham Arms – April 7
  • Basingstoke Sports and Social Club – March 15
  • The Kings Arms, Whitchurch – March 25
  • The Winkle – March 27

Attempted Burglary at Community Centre

Nish’s attempted burglary charge relates to Oakridge West Community Centre on April 9. Jason Robert King, 43, of Dryden Close, Basingstoke, has also been charged with attempted burglary linked to the same incident.

Magistrates’ Court Appearance Today

Both men are set to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court this Tuesday, April 10.
