Teen Hackers Busted by City of London Police

The City of London Police have cracked down on a hacking spree, arresting two teens aged 16 and 17. Both remain in custody as charges pile up against them.

Serious Cybercrime Charges Laid

Detective Inspector Michael O’Sullivan revealed the charges against the duo include:

  • Three counts of unauthorised computer access with intent to impair data reliability
  • One count of fraud by false representation
  • One count of unauthorised access to hinder data access
  • Additional charge for the 16-year-old: causing a computer to perform a function for unauthorised program access

Youth Court Appearance Set for Today

The teens are due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court this morning (1 April 2022) to face these serious allegations. The investigation is ongoing as officers probe deeper into the hacking group’s activities.
