Two Men Charged Over Racist Incident on Stansted Flight

Lee Carey, 55, from Brentwood Road, Romford, and 31-year-old Jak Bruce from Watchgate, Dartford, have been hit with serious charges. Both face accusations of causing racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm, or distress under Section 4A of the Public Order Act.

Released on Bail, Court Date Set

The pair are now out on bail and are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 12 April. They will formally face the charges then.

Incident Took Place on Flight Leaving Stansted

The charges stem from an alleged incident aboard a departing flight from Stansted Airport on 4 November 2021. Details remain under investigation as the case moves forward.
