Two Men Jailed for Rape and Sexual Assault in Hertfordshire
T’Shai Bromfield, 24, from Colindale, London, and Ryan King, 21, from Watford, have both been handed 12-year prison sentences after being found guilty of serious sexual offences.
Harsh Sentences for Violent Crimes
- Bromfield was convicted of one count of rape.
- King was found guilty of one count of rape and one count of sexual assault by penetration.
Police Praise Victim’s Bravery
Detective Constable Ayodeji Afolabi, leading Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Halo team, said: “Today’s sentencing has been a long time coming for the victim, who has shown nothing but courage throughout the investigation and trial.”
He added: “Bromfield and King’s decision to plead not guilty forced the victim to relive her trauma in court. Her bravery and the support of witnesses led to their conviction and stopped them from harming anyone else.”
Support and Justice for Victim
The victim, targeted when vulnerable, has received specialist help from the Independent Sexual Violence Adviser service to aid her recovery. Both offenders are now on the Sex Offenders’ Register.
DC Afolabi concluded: “We hope this verdict brings her closure and we wish her all the very best.”
