Two Jailed for Grooming and Child Exploitation

Clinton Easy, 31, and Tyler Belgrave-Breeds, 33, have been locked up for two-and-a-half years each. They were found guilty of controlling prostitution and possessing and sharing indecent images of children.

Easy’s Dark Web Uncovered by Met Police

Easy, from Catford, was already flagged by the Met Police’s V100 list — a high-risk register targeting men who threaten women and girls. Police swooped after uncovering evidence that Easy was advertising children online. His devices revealed multiple adverts arranging sex with girls aged 13 to 17, leading to the rescue of three victims.

Belgrave-Breeds Paid for Ads, Linked to Easy

Further digging traced the ads back to Belgrave-Breeds, from Thamesmead. Investigators found he had financially backed the online adverts promoting sex with underage girls. Both men were hauled before Woolwich Crown Court on June 21 and sentenced.

Sentencing and Orders to Protect the Public

Alongside their jail time, Easy and Belgrave-Breeds were hit with sexual harm prevention orders and slapped on the sex offenders register for seven years.

Detective Sergeant Katy Lee said, “This investigation was complex, involving thousands of texts and multiple SIM cards used to evade capture. We leave no stone unturned to get criminals behind bars and protect victims. We take harm to children and girls extremely seriously, and I’m proud we’re making London safer.”

Belgrave-Breeds’ Violent Past Comes to Light

Belgrave-Breeds had a notorious run-in with the law before. In 2014, CCTV caught him causing a scene on a Bexleyheath bus, abusing the driver, vandalising the vehicle’s mirror, and throwing a can of drink at the driver’s head. The brawl, witnessed by schoolchildren and onlookers, earned him 14 weeks in jail.

Ongoing Fight Against Child Exploitation

The convictions of Easy and Belgrave-Breeds highlight police efforts to protect vulnerable people and crack down hard on abusers exploiting children and young girls.
