Officers from the National Crime Agency teamed up with Police Scotland to keep a close eye on Mohammed Asif, 50, from Glenrothes, and Fikret Ugurlu, 40, from Wembley, London. The pair met in a car park in Glenrothes on 7 February 2022, under police surveillance.

Detective Chief Inspector Steven Elliot said: “This conviction and sentencing highlight our relentless fight against drug supply and distribution across Scotland. Targeting organised crime remains our top priority.”
