Two Charged After Woman Found Dead in N9 Home
Deka Omar, 23, of no fixed address, and Philip Sherwin, 60, from South Eastern Avenue, N9, have been charged following the death of a 58-year-old woman. The pair appeared in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 28 February.
Woman Found Dead at Church Street Property
Police were called at 8:32pm on Monday, 21 February, after reports a woman was discovered with injuries at a home on Church Street, N9. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service, attended the scene.
Susan Ioannou, 58, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
Cause of Death Still Unclear
A post-mortem examination on Tuesday, 22 February, failed to determine the cause of death. Police continue their inquiries into the case.
