Ricky Collins Dies After Derbyshire Stabbing – Police Arrest Four
Ricky Collins, 24, was found with fatal stab wounds in Killamarsh, Derbyshire, on the evening of 29 March. Despite rushed hospital treatment, he died from his injuries.
Four Held Over Sheffield Man’s Murder
Derbyshire Police swooped quickly, detaining a 24-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman from Sheffield on Monday. Both remain in custody as investigations continue. A 16-year-old Sheffield boy, arrested on suspicion of murder, has been bailed pending further inquiries.
Two Charged With Helping Offenders
Meanwhile, Martin Mongan, 44, from Pontefract, West Yorkshire, and another 43-year-old Sheffield man have been charged with assisting offenders linked to the case.
Officers were initially called to reports of a disturbance at a property on Westthorpe Road, where they found Collins seriously injured.
