Paedophile Fugitive Nabbed in Pattaya After 8 Years on the Run
William Dempster, 46, was arrested in Thailand today under an international warrant. The convicted paedophile fled the UK eight years ago before sentencing.

Dempster was found guilty in May 2014 of possessing indecent images of children. He vanished ahead of his sentencing, with police suspecting he fled to Thailand.

After a lengthy investigation involving Police Scotland, the National Crime Agency, and the Royal Thai Police, Dempster was finally caught in Pattaya.
He now faces extradition back to the UK to face justice.
