Man in 30s Seriously Injured in Bexleyheath Hit-and-Run
A grey Vauxhall Astra collided with a pedestrian on Crossways Boulevard at 8.15pm on Friday, 20 October 2023. Emergency services rushed to the scene to treat a man in his 30s, who was then taken to a London hospital. He remains in serious but stable condition.
Driver Arrested and Bailed in Careless Driving Probe
The 36-year-old driver from Bexleyheath was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving. He has since been bailed pending further investigations.
Police Urge Witnesses and Dashcam Users to Come Forward
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to get in touch. Drivers with dashcam footage are also asked to check for any recordings that could help the investigation.
