Man in 70s Seriously Injured After Collision with Audi in Cliftonville

Kent Police were called to Northdown Road, Cliftonville, at 11:10am on Thursday 18 April 2024 following a crash involving a grey Audi and a pedestrian.

Emergency Crews Rush to Scene

Officers arrived alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service and an air ambulance. The pedestrian, a man in his 70s, was rushed to a London hospital with serious injuries.

Driver Arrested Over Dangerous Driving

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been bailed while inquiries continue.

Police Seek Witnesses and Footage

Kent Police urge anyone who saw the crash or has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward. Witnesses should call 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/ZY/13102/24.
