Met Police have charged Silviu Pungaru, 35, from The Drive in Ilford, with attempted murder. The charge follows a violent stabbing that left a 35-year-old man critically injured on the afternoon of Saturday, 8 February.
The victim remains in hospital but is now in a stable condition, police confirmed.
