Old Bailey Trial Underway
Mohamed Iidow, 35, is now on trial at the Old Bailey. He faces charges of rape and manslaughter. During Tuesday’s opening, prosecutor Alison Morgan KC told jurors:
“In short, it is alleged that he raped Natalie Shotter and that the act of rape caused Natalie Shotter’s death.”
The trial has just begun and will continue over the coming days as more evidence is laid out.
