A woman is suing after a horrifying electrocution in St James’s Park left her in intensive care with a brain injury that changed her life forever.

21-year-old Anastasija Grigorjeva was visiting her sister, Snezana, in London last July when disaster struck. While taking shelter from heavy rain in a St James’s Park bandstand, Anastasija’s leg slipped through a ground-level spotlight grate and touched a live electrical wire.

Sisters’ Day Out Ends in Tragedy

Snezana, 27, revealed the shocking moment. The sisters had been sightseeing and decided to snap photos near the spotlight. That’s when Anastasija’s leg made contact with the electrified wire beneath the grate, causing the life-altering injury.

Now, Anastasija is taking legal action, demanding answers and accountability for the dangerous setup that nearly killed her.
