Man Arrested Over Brutal Tooting Murder of David Potter
Detectives have arrested a 47-year-old man in connection with the savage murder of 50-year-old David Potter in Tooting. The suspect was snapped up on Friday, 4 May and remains in custody at a south London police station.
Deadly Discovery on Tooting High Street
Police were called to a Tooting High Street home around 2:45pm on Monday, 26 March following welfare concerns. Officers forced entry at 3:12pm and found David Potter’s lifeless body.
A post-mortem at St George’s Hospital confirmed David died from a devastating incised neck wound.
Earlier Arrest Fails to Secure Charges
Previously, cops arrested a 44-year-old local on suspicion of murder on 28 March. He has since been released under investigation, while inquiries continue.
