Family’s Beloved Dog Snatched in Broad Daylight Near Birmingham Beauty Spot

A family of five has been left heartbroken after their cherished dog, Coco, was snatched and bundled into a car moments before a walk in Birmingham.

Dog Grabbed from Windermere Playing Fields

Coco was out for a stroll at Windermere Playing Fields, near Moseley Bog, when a man jumped into action. Witnesses say the dog was yanked from her walk and shoved into a silver or grey car—believed to be a Ford Focus, 15-plate, with dark tinted windows.

A passerby described the kidnapper as a fair-haired man in his mid-twenties.

Suspect Speeds Away – CCTV Appeal Launched

The man left the park around 11:50am, speeding off towards Yardley Wood Road. Authorities urge anyone in the area to check CCTV footage from that time to help track the vehicle’s registration plate.

Police and Family Plead for Help

West Midlands Police have logged the incident under crime reference number 20BE/237736L/20. The family is desperate for Coco’s safe return.
