Tragic Crash on A414: Motorcyclist Dies in High Ongar Smash

Police were called to a horror crash on the A414 at High Ongar yesterday afternoon. The collision, involving a car and a motorcycle, happened just before 2pm on Tuesday 26 October.

Motorcyclist, Man in His 50s, Found Dead at Scene

Despite desperate efforts by ambulance crews, the motorcyclist – a man in his 50s – was pronounced dead at the scene. The A414 was shut between the Norton Heath petrol station and Kings Street while officers worked. The road finally reopened at around 8pm.

Police Hunt Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage

Essex Police want to hear from anyone who saw the crash or was in the area at the time.
