Man Arrested in London Over Missing Woman Mystery
A 45-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday, 2 May, and is being held at an east London police station. The arrest is linked to a search for a woman in her 20s, reported missing from Orchard Place, E14, on Sunday, 30 April.
Missing Woman Believed to Be in Danger
Police fear the missing woman has suffered harm. Her family have been informed and are receiving support while officers continue their investigation.
Suspect Known to Victim
The arrested man and the missing woman are known to each other, say police. The Met’s Specialist Crime Command homicide detectives are leading the inquiry.
