Rare Burlington Dart Mini and £7,500 Worth of Valuables Stolen in Surrey Burglary
Surrey Police are hunting thieves after a rare vintage Burlington Dart mini car and a haul of tools and vehicles vanished from a Holmbury St Mary property.
Audacious Night Raid
The burglary took place sometime between 8pm on Thursday, 11 May, and 8am the next morning. The owners were left devastated after the offenders struck under cover of darkness.
Priceless Stolen Goods
Alongside the priceless Burlington Dart mini, the thieves made off with:
- A Derbi quad bike worth £1,000
- A twin axle Ifor Williams trailer valued at £2,500
- A Yamaha DT175 trails bike worth £2,000
- Various tools including saws, cordless drills, and nail guns worth over £2,000
Police Appeal for Help
Constable Lee Player, leading the investigation, said: “This was an audacious burglary involving distinctive items. I urge anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area during that time to get in touch.”
“If anyone is offered these items for sale under unusual circumstances, please report it immediately.”
